We all are big fans of healthy habits and yet they are so tough to build. When we start something, we all are just looking for one moment to stop those healthy habits and fall back to our old regime. I have tried this 100s of times and failed each time and now I have found a shortcut to it — now I change my environment instead of my habits because it is fairly easy to do in comparison.

If I cannot change my habits, I will change my environment

Here are a list of things we can do in our environment and some in our habits to make it fairly easy for us to reap maximum benefits :

Replace plastic from our kitchen: If there should be one thing we all should do instantly which will begin the best results in our health, I will go with this one. Women with the Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), the most common hormone imbalance in women of reproductive age, may be more vulnerable to exposure to the chemical bisphenol A (BPA), found in many plastic household items, according to a new study. You can start with a water bottle(to glass, stainless steel and copper) and then slowly, you can change all the plastic containers (to steel and glass). This alone change can increase your family life span by over 5 years and you will start having a great taste as well.

Replace our utensils : Have you ever found those big iron utensils owned by your grandmother? Has she ever boasted about the taste and the benefits of those utensils? Well, she is right. The best way to increase iron in the body is to cook food in iron utensils. Also, it causes the least damage to your food and will reap the best benefits for the body. Start with replacing only one item which you use most of the time.

Get yourself a clay pot: If you really wanna enjoy your water and make it better for the environment as well, go for this one.

Expressing gratitude before cooking and eating food: Our mind and our body has a direct connection. If you are stressed about eating food, it won’t work that great for the body. We should respect food as all of us depend on it for lifeline. A troubled intestine can send signals to the brain, just as a troubled brain can send signals to the gut. Therefore, a person’s stomach or intestinal distress can be the cause or the product of anxiety, stress, or depression
Never eat your food with stress. Even while eating junk food, express gratitude, keep calm and relax your mind. This alone habits can help your body make the best of the food you eat.

Replace junk with fruits, dates and nuts : If you are a big fan of crunching and wants something to be in your mouth all the time, well you are not alone. You already know this but now is the time to implement it. Throw that bakery items, cornflakes, chips and other junk food and fill your kitchen with fruits and healthy food, so when you are feeling most hungry, you do’t break your regime of eating healthy.

All the best champions! Keep working hard!
